SCOTT AUKER

Scott Auker, the principal of ADI, is an accomplished real estate professional having been involved with the development, construction, or management of over 5,000 multi-family units and 1,000,000 s.f. of commercial projects across the Midwest and Eastern United States.

Mr. Auker formed ADI in 2001 and since then has been involved with numerous projects ranging from the ground-up development and construction of Puerta de Palmas, a 198-unit high-rise building, to Bahia Delray, a 236-unit renovation and condo conversion project, to Oasis, a 256 unit rental community. Currently, ADI focuses exclusively on acquisition of existing multi-family properties and providing professional asset management services.

Prior to establishing ADI, Mr. Auker was involved with numerous national multi-family developers, including JPI, Altman, and Clark Realty where he led multi-family rental development efforts in Virginia, Maryland, North Carolina, Ohio, Illinois, and Florida. Mr. Auker also held various construction management positions for Clark Construction, a national commercial construction company.

Mr. Auker holds a Masters in Business Administration (M.B.A.), with a specialization in Real Estate and Urban Development, from The American University and a Bachelor of Architectural Engineering (B.A.E.), with a specialization in Construction Management, from the Pennsylvania State University. He resides in Fort Lauderdale where he is very active in local church and charitable organizations.


SHANE NIXON

 

Shane Nixon, Senior Asset Manager for ADI, is involved with all of its major projects and provides day-to-day development, construction, property, and asset management oversight.

Prior to joining ADI, Mr. Nixon worked with Barnett Bank and was involved with its commercial real estate loan origination operations. After Barnett Bank was sold, Mr. Nixon founded American Global Funding Services, an accounts receivable and inventory financing company which he grew and ultimately sold. He also worked as an operations manager for Leggett & Platt, a large manufacturing company, and has been involved in residential housing investments specializing in REO and financial work-outs.

Mr. Nixon holds a degree in Business Administration from the Pennsylvania State University. He is also a Certified Factoring Specialist (CFS). He resides in Pompano Beach, Florida and is active in local church and charitable organizations including the United Way, March of Dimes, Compassion International, 4 Kids of South Florida, and First Priority.
